According to the American Cancer Society, one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer sometime during his lifetime. The Depend® Brand, leader in the adult absorbent underwear category for more than 25 years, has partnered with ZERO – The Project to End Prostate Cancer for the second consecutive year with the hope of ending this terrible disease.
Through 2010, the Depend® Brand will contribute $250,000 to ZERO. Each purchase of Depend® Underwear for Men and Depend® Guards for Men helps fund the fight against prostate cancer.
Starting now through September, The Depend® Campaign to End Prostate Cancer will be helping to drive awareness and support for the importance of early detection of prostate cancer, and the need for men to partner with their doctor to develop a proactive plan for maintaining their prostate health.
This year, we've brought back our team of Campaign Legends, including three new legends who will be revealed throughout the next few months. Because each Campaign Legend understands the importance of being proactive about his prostate health, together they have pledged to help us spread the word to other men by reminding them to visit a doctor to determine their own risk factors for developing prostate heath conditions.
